Christopher John Dwyer (43) of Chestnut St., Branford unexpectedly left this world on June 13, 2021. We lost a father who loved his boys, Dylan Greenwood Dwyer (14) and Ryan Scout Dwyer (9) with all his heart. He also leaves behind his best friend and devoted wife of 24 years, Heather Greenwood, loving parents Richard and Elizabeth Dwyer, sister Donna Andrzejewski (John), brother Richard Dwyer Jr. (Cynthia), nephews Troy Andrzejewski and Alec Dwyer and nieces Alexa Andrzejewski and Lia Dwyer.

Christopher grew up in North Branford graduating from NBHS in 1995. He attended the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a B.S. in Economics. While in Ohio, he met Heather and they moved to the West Coast where he started a Carpentry business building and remodeling upscale buildings and homes in San Francisco. While there, he became a certified EMT and moved to Petaluma, California where he and Heather had their boys prior to returning to CT in 2013.

Christopher was an incredibly talented carpenter who most recently led large scale, commercial construction projects for Master Millwork in Fairfield County. During his short life, he was a big brother for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program and enjoyed music, playing the guitar, baseball, snowboarding, camping, and sailing his boat. He taught his children all the things he loved including God, family tradition and above all, gratitude. He will be remembered as an intelligent, talented, intense, and deeply caring person who went out of his way to help others.

Donations for his sons education may be made to CHET Advisor, care of W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home.
