Obituary: Grant Lewis Berger Jr., 95, of Stony Creek
Grant, who had lived in Guilford for many years, was a US Navy veteran and worked for Yale New Haven Hospital and MIF in Branford.

Grant Lewis Berger Jr. of Stony Creek died at Connecticut Hospice in Branford on Wednesday May 19, 2021. He was the father of Lisa Martin (Richard Godsey) of Appomattox, VA. He was predeceased by his wife Helen Civco Berger, and his son Grant Berger III. Grant was born in Syracuse, N.Y. on February 18, 1926, a son of the late Grant and Hannah Dudley Berger.
He served in the United States Navy during World War II. For many years he worked in the Building Services Department of Yale New Haven Hospital. He also worked in the personnel department for MIF in Branford. He had resided in Stony Creek since 1981 after having lived in Guilford for many years.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 at the Stony Creek Congregational Church. Burial will be private. The W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home , 244 North Main St. Branford is in care of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Stony Creek Congregational Church, 192 Thimble Island Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
