We who knew her are heartbroken by our loss but take joy in knowing that her earthly travails are at an end and she now stands in glory next to her God, who she loved and served.

Lorraine was born May 28, 1929 and lived and worked in Branford her entire life. In the seventh grade she first met Kenneth and they were married in 1948. Together they raised 4 children. She was a lifelong UCONN Husky Women’s Basketball fan and never missed a game. It was well known by family and friends that during UCONN Women’s Basketball and her favorite T.V. Shows (Blue Bloods) there was no reason to call her, because she wasn’t going to pick up and interrupt her shows. She was also an avid family baseball lover.Lorraine and her late husband Ken loved to travel and her trips ranged from Hawaii to Europe. To this day her home is filled with nick nack reminders of those travels. She also loved to swim and read.
