A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, prior to her retirement Pasqualina was a bookkeeper for the former Gant Shirt Company.
Pasqualina Carrano Appel 84, of Branford beloved wife of the late John Appel passed away on March 26, 2021 surrounded by her family at her home. Loving mother of Barbara (James) DeMaio of East Haven and Caryl (James) Sharretto of Branford. Stepmother of Elizabeth (Brian) Eitzer, Adrianne Appel and Janice Evancha. Grandmother of Timothy Siebold, James C Sharretto, Madalyn Scharretto and Rebecca Sharretto, Arlo and Chloe Eitzer and Eva Appel. Great grandmother of Timothy Siebold Jr. Sister of Theresa Bracken of Westbrook and Alphonse (Christine) Carrano of Manchester.
Pasqualina was born in New Haven on March 25, 1937 daughter of the late Matthew and Mary Baldetti Carrano.

Prior to her retirement Pasqualina was a bookkeeper for the former Gant Shirt Company.
Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven MONDAY morning April 5, 2021 at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call MONDAY morning from 9:30 to 10:30. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Community Healthcare & Hospice 753 Boston Post Rd. Suite 200 Guilford,CT. 06437.
