BRANFORD, CT - An abandoned pit bull being cared for at the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter in Branford is in need of a new home.
The shelter, on social media says this about Shay:

“She is another pup that we are hoping for a Christmas Miracle for ! She has been stuck in a kennel for quite sometime and we aren't sure exactly why. Shay likes other dogs she has met here and kids! She even smiles when she will see people she loves ! It's so cute! She would prefer to live without cats.
“We know that when people cut their ears they "look " tough, but Shay is so so sweet! She is about 2 years old, spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. Please share Shay's story.’’
