Play Ball! Branford Little League Celebrates Opening Day

Nothing marks the start of spring better than Opening Day of Little League!

It was a beautiful day for baseball (and softball and tee ball) as Branford Little League celebrated the beginning of its 2013 season.

Players gathered in their uniforms and marched to the field with their teams with parents, siblings and fans cheering them on. 

Opening Day festivities not only included the parade and speeches, but meet-and-greets with characters, contests, refreshments at the concession stand and a Branford Little League gear sale.
