Polls Open This Tuesday in Branford As Many Seats Up For Grabs

Jamie Cosgrove is running unopposed on Tuesday for First Selectman in Branford but there are other races

(Patch)

BRANFORD, CT - With no Democratic challenger taking on Republican Jamie Cosgrove for first selectman on November 5th, both parties are working hard to make sure people come to the polls to vote for the other people running on the ballot.

Cosgrove will win his 4th term on Election Day. He has said that pushing to continue smart economic growth, especially along the Interstate 95 corridor and near the Shoreline East train station will remain a priority of his administration.

While there may not be a race for first selectman, there is plenty of action on the rest of the ballot.
Democrat Raymond Dunbar is running for selectman as is Republican Joseph Higgins, Jr. Lisa E. Aprin is running unopoosed for town clerk. For Town Treasurer, Kurt M. Schwamfelder is the Democratic candidate; Michael Nardella is the Republican candidate; for tax collector Roberta Gill-Brooks is running unopposed.
