Popular Pizza Eatery To Move Into Lynn’s Deli Spot In Branford
Soon to move in to the old Lynn's Deli will be Capone's Pizza Bar, according to a sign located outside the restaurant on East Main Street.
BRANFORD, CT - It didn't take long for a new eatery to take over the site of Lynn's Restaurant and Delicatessan, which closed at the end of February after more than four decades in business.
Soon to move in will be Capone's Pizza Bar, according to a sign located outside the restaurant on East Main Street.
Capone's was until weeks ago located nearby - at 223 East Main Street - but that location is much smaller than the old delicatessan which is located a little more than a half mile away at 318 East Main.

On Capone's website this is what the brothers say about their place(s).
"Years ago Nick Capone was a high school student looking for his first job to make some extra cash. Across the street from where he grew up in North Branford was a small pizzeria called Annex Apizza House. With Nicks love for italian food and pizza he decided to apply for a job. Shortly after, he was hired to wash dishes and prep food .
While all his friends were out on Friday and Saturday nights, Nick would always be hard at work, and because of this great work ethic, it eventully led him to oversee and learn how to make pizzas from some of the greatest old time Pizza makers of the New Haven county. At 20 years old and being such a fast learner, Nick was then running the entire pizzeria himself which gave him an Idea..To be a business owner himself.
Then the dream began and at the young age of 23 years old, Capone's Pizzeria in Branford was born! Nick's family members would all love to help out which he then introduced his brother Mike to the restaurant business.
Over time they decided to become partners and with the great food and wonderful staff, the restaurant received great reviews year after year and was was claimed to be many local residents favorite pizzeria in Branford.
