BRANFORD, CT — A roadway milling and resurfacing project on Route 1 in Branford starts Monday April 13.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing 1.33 miles of Route 1 in Branford. This project is scheduled to start Monday and last until April 29.

The milling segment is from Monday, April 13 to Monday, April 20 and the resurfacing segmentis from April 20 until April 29.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2020 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 1 from the East Haven town line to Orchard Hill Road. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
