It appears that the worst of the potentially severe weather is expected between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. statewide. A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for the entire state in advance of the storms expected arrival.
More storms and increased heat and humidity are also expected on Thursday but all of this unsettled weather will depart this weekend. The weekend looks amazing with plenty of sun and temps only in the mid-to-upper 70s. This is your silver lining for today.

Scattered strong to severe storms Wednesday with the main event 2 PM - 9 PM. Main threats are damaging winds and hail. Low risk for an isolated tornado. The more sun we see midday, the bigger the storms. If clouds linger longer, the severe risk is lower. pic.twitter.com/ukZwXK9be4
