Support Adult Day Center By Buying Mom A Colorful Hanging Plant
The non-profit Orchard House Medical Adult Day Center hopes people will help support it while also surprising mom on her day.
BRANFORD, CT —The non-profit Orchard House Medical Adult Day Center on the Connecticut shoreline is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, but it cannot host a celebration gala due to COVID-19.
Until the adult day center can celebrate publicly, it's implementing small fundraising events throughout the year to help pay for engaging member activity packets, crafts, games, technology, computers, update their transportation shuttle vans, and ongoing COVID-19 education, training and disinfecting.
One of its fundraisers is its Mother’s Day plant sale. Ten-inch colorful hanging flowering plants include New Guinea Impatiens and Ivy Geranium.
