This Week's Branford Forecast: Sunny With A Chance of HOT

It could hit 91 on Monday! Where do you go to cool off?


Say goodbye to the fog (for the most part) and the overcast skies, and say hello to sunny and hot! At least that's what the National Weather Service is predicting for this week.

Do you need a place to stay cool? Branford Fire Headquarters will be available to any Branford resident this week for cooling from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily until the heat breaks. Check out the BFD's Facebook page for updates. 

Here's the forecast for Branford this week:

  • Isolated showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 91. North wind 5 to 8 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  • Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 91. North wind 6 to 8 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
  • Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 90.
  • Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 90.
  • Friday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
