Transfer Station Closed for Brush Chipping April 18 and 19
Brush will be accepted early this week and chipped; mulch will be available to Branford residents.
Have you been doing some spring cleaning in the yard? Do you have brush to get rid of? You can bring it to the Transfer Station during regular hours, which are 7:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on weekdays and 7:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
However, the Transfer Station will be closed on Thursday, April 18 and Friday, April 19 as brush will be chipped on these days. Brush is chipped into mulch, which is available to residents at no cost while supplies last.
According to the Transfer Station's webpage, "We cannot accept brush on the days when we are chipping the brush, since, for safety reasons; we cannot allow anyone on the back of the property while the machine is running."
