BRANFORD, CT — The Branford Police Department is asking the public's help in identifying two people they say stole from a car. The incident was caught on a surveillance camera.

In the surveillance footage posted Tuesday, two people are seen approaching two cars parked in a driveway. Each of them checks the driver's side door of a car. One of them is presumably locked, but the other isn't.

The two people got into the unlocked vehicle — a white SUV — and, police say, stole property from inside.
