Where's That Music Coming From, Residents Ask. Good Question

BRANFORD, CT — Over the past few week-plus, residents in both East Haven and Branford have been complaining about loud, very loud, music coming from, well, no one is certain, but some believe it may be coming from Fair Haven.

Police in both towns have received complaints but as of yet, no answers. Some have suggested it may be coming from a vehicle, a truck perhaps, but something mobile as the sound has been reportedly heard in several East Haven, Branford and even North Branford neighborhoods.

After several residents reached out, Patch contacted police spokespeople from Branford, East Haven and New Haven and, are all perplexed.

Branford police Deputy Chief John Alves told Patch that police received a few complaints on four different occasions since April 23 and he said that on all those occasions, the music was identified as coming from outside of town.
