200 Turkeys To Be Given Away Outside Fairfield Business
Anyone in need of a Thanksgiving turkey can get one Tuesday in front of the downtown Fairfield retailer.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A local charity will give away 200 turkeys Tuesday to those in need. The birds, intended for people affected by the coronavirus pandemic, will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting 3 p.m. outside Saugatuck Sweets, 28 Reef Road, according to a Facebook post from the business. The turkey giveaway is being run by Al's Angels, a charity operated by Saugatuck Sweets owner Al DiGuido.
