$4K in Silverware, Jewelry Stolen from Hill Farm Road Home

A Hill Farm Road resident reported to police Thursday that $4,000 worth of silverware and jewelry were stolen from his home.

The burglary occurred sometime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday. Police found a rear sliding door open about an inch while processing the scene. A jewelry box and all of its contents were reported missing, as well as some silverware.

This is under investigation. According to department spokesperson Sgt. Sue Lussier, there have been three similar incidents in the area, the Greenfield Hill neighborhood of town.
