SOUTHPORT, CT — The Pequot Library’s 13th annual Easter Egg Roll take place on the Great Lawn from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 20. Inspired by the longstanding White House custom, Pequot Library’s Easter Egg Roll is a much-loved, annual community event.

“Participants can dance the bunny hop, make crafts, play games, meet the Easter Bunny, and visit with Pequot's real rabbit, Blossom,” according to a news release. “Bring hard-boiled eggs for decorating, and then choose a favorite egg to enter in the age-category races. Please bring a long-handled wooden spoon for the roll.”

The free event is for ages 2 and up. In case of rain, children will color Easter eggs and do other fun crafts in the Auditorium.
