Author Talk, Book Sale, Concert Series and More Events in Fairfield This Week

Pequot Library book sale. The sale continues through Tuesday -- stock up on your summer reading at Pequot Library.  

Open House - Eagle Hill Southport School. Eagle Hill Southport School will open its doors to prospective families Tuesday morning. Guests will meet the headmaster and staff members and tour the school. Eagle Hill-Southport is a day school designed for bright and capable students experiencing academic difficulties because of a learning disability.

Become a Fairfield Museum & History Center docent. The center welcomes inquiries and applications from prospective docents who are interested in learning about becoming a tour guide.

St. Ann Concert Series. The Black Rock Church puts on family-friendly concerts on Tuesdays. This week's theme is an Evening of Show Tunes by Fairfield School of Music Students.

Bonerama. Be ready for a rock 'n' funk extravaganza as these gentlemen from the Big Easy lay down some of the funkiest tunes this side of the Mississippi. Bonerama will play at the Fairfield Theatre Company on Thursday.

Author Talk. Author Mary Simses will discuss her new novel "The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop & Cafe", with Joe Myers of the CT Post at the Fairfield University Bookstore Thursday. The event is free and open to the public.
