Author Talks Recovery, Massages for Survivors

Here's what's going on in and around Fairfield on Wednesday, Oct. 2: 

• Ben Boone, author of “Minority of Mind”, a book about living with schizophrenia, will talk about his life and recovery in Fairfield Wednesday night. 

• In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Sabita Holistic Center is offering one free 30 minute therapeutic massage to patients and survivors.

• Leading up to Star Wars Reads Day on Saturday, Oct. 5, the Fairfield Public Library will be showing Star Wars movies each afternoon from 3:30 - 6 p.m.
