Batteries Stolen From Public Works Garage 2 Days in a Row
Fairfield Police say they are investigating.
Fairfield Police are investigating the reported theft of batteries from the town's Public Works garage.
The batteries — from pay loaders — are valued at $200 a piece. Police said batteries were stolen on Monday, and were recovered later that day at an unspecified location. Again the next day, two batteries were reported stolen from the garage at 8:13 a.m. on March 25.Â
