Boys Junior Basketball At Wakeman — Sign Up Now

Signups are underway for Wakeman Boys & Girls Club's Boys Junior Basketball League. This year there will be a 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade division. Each team will practice one night during the week and play one or two games on the weekend.

There will be a seven game regular season followed by a single-elimination playoff. Season will wrap up Friday, April 9th. Practices begin Monday, March 1st.

Games will be played Saturdays March 6th, 13th, 20th/21st, 27th/28th, April 3rd. Each team will play two games the weekend of March 13th/14th, 20th/21st. Playoffs Begin Sunday, April 4th.

Teams will be coached by parent volunteers who have successfully completed a background check and BGCA Safety Trainings.

Player evaluations will take place February 16th-20th. After registration, please call the front desk at 203-259-4805, extension 251 to sign up for an evaluation. Each player must attend one evaluation date. This is to help staff formulate a balanced and competitive league.

All games and practices will follow strict COVID guidelines and procedures set forth by Department of Health.
