Fairfield, CT – November 30, 2015 – As its first exhibition for 2016, Art/Place Gallery will showcase new works by painter Paul G. Larson in a solo show entitled “A Brief Sojourn” on exhibit from January 7 to February 14.
This collection of ten new paintings symbolizes the odyssey we each wander in life. “From birth to death we each travel a constantly changing world, headed inexorably toward a largely uncertain future.” These powerful stylized figurative paintings depict beginnings, endings, and the movement of the spirit in between.
An artist’s reception for “A Brief Sojourn” will be held, free to the public, on
Sunday, January 10, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Regular gallery hours are Thursdays through Saturdays from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm, and Sundays from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, and by appointment.
Art/Place Gallery is also open during both Fairfield Theatre Company’s normal business hours and all scheduled FTC performances.
