FAIRFIELD, CT — The case of a fatal crash involving a Stratford driver and a Fairfield pedestrian remains open months after the incident, according to state police.

The crash killed Christine McMahon, who was crossing the northbound on-ramp for Exit 21 of Interstate 95 when she and another pedestrian — a 69-year-old Meriden man — were struck by a 52-year-old Stratford man turning left onto the ramp in a Ford F-350 Super Duty, according to police.

McMahon, 69, suffered a head injury in the crash, which occurred about 5:30 p.m. Nov. 7, police said. She died two days later. The other pedestrian had minor injuries.
