Cat Found At Fairfield Animal Control, Owner Sought

Officials say it isn't known if it is a lost cat or if she was dumped in the animal control parking lot.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Animal Control is asking for help with finding the owner of a female cat that was found at the conservation department/ animal control parking lot. The cat was first noticed last Thursday and was found sleeping in the wood shed at conservation, according to the animal control.

“It is not known if she is a lost cat, or if she was dumped here,” the animal control wrote in a post on Facebook. “She does have an older looking flea collar and is very friendly, no microchip. If anyone might be missing or knows someone missing this cat please call the Fairfield Animal Shelter at (203) 254-4857.”
