Author Talk. Author Mary Simses will discuss her new novel "The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop & Cafe", with Joe Myers of the CT Post at the Fairfield University Bookstore Thursday. The event is free and open to the public.

Bonerama. Be ready for a rock 'n' funk extravaganza as these gentlemen from the Big Easy lay down some of the funkiest tunes this side of the Mississippi. Bonerama will play at the Fairfield Theatre Company on Thursday.

Beach Story Time. Join staff members from the Fairfield Public Library at 4:15 p.m. Thursday at Jennings Beach for an outdoor story time.

Fairfield Summer Concert Series: Head to Sherman Green at 7 p.m. Thursday to catch "Yesteryear" in concert.
