Dog Finds New Home Months After Owner Died
The Fairfield Animal Control shared the happy news that Sunny has been adopted and will be spending Thanksgiving in his new home.
FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Animal Control shared some great news just before Thanksgiving. Sunny (pictured) has been adopted into a new home several months after his owner died.
Sunny’s new family had come to see him four or five times to get to know him. He moved into his new home this past Saturday.
“Sunny took a liking to his new family and they called this week to let us know Sunny is doing fine,” the animal control wrote in a post on Facebook. “It's great to know Sunny will be spending Thanksgiving in his new home.”
