Dog Found Roaming In Fairfield, Owner Sought
The animal control says the dog might have recently had puppies or had been used for breeding.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Animal Control is asking for help with locating a lost dog’s owner. The dog, who was found roaming on Palamar Drive on Sept. 22, might have recently had a litter of puppies or been used for breeding, according to the animal control.
“This pretty female pit who we are affectionately calling ‘Ruby’ was found roaming on Palamar Dr in Fairfield on 9/22/18,” the animal control wrote in a post on Facebook. “She looks as though she might have recently had a litter of puppies or been used for breeding, she looks to have a possible skin condition and is being seen by our vet today. She is very friendly and playful.”
Anyone with information on where “Ruby” might have come from is asked to call the Fairfield Animal Shelter at 203-254-4857.
