Dogs Found Leashed Together In Fairfield: Animal Control

Officials say one of the dogs had a microchip that traced back to a veterinarian in Florida.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Animal Control is asking for help with information on two dogs that were found leashed together over the weekend in Fairfield. Officials say the two female pit bull mixes (pictured) were found on Saturday leashed together in the area of Veterans Park and Reef Road.

“The dogs had no collars or tags, however, one did have a microchip that traced back to a Florida veterinarian,” the animal control wrote in a post on Facebook. “The Vet knew the dogs (Maddie and Mya) from years ago and knew that the owners name was Yovan Barazza. If anyone has any information on these dogs please call Animal Control at 203-254-4857.”
