Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing Center Coming To Fairfield

Yale New Haven Health also recently opened a vaccination site in town, and the town of Fairfield established a vaccine hotline.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The town of Fairfield and Yale New Haven Health are working to make coronavirus testing and vaccination more accessible to residents, with a new drive-thru testing facility planned and a vaccine site run by the health provider already open in town.

The testing facility will be at the Mill Plain Road commuter parking lot and is set to offer multiple lanes of drive-thru testing seven days a week starting March 1, according to a town news release.

“The town has been exploring options to secure more testing for some time and we are excited this is coming to fruition with Yale New Haven Health,” First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick said in the news release.

Additionally, Yale New Haven Health has opened a vaccination site through Northeast Medical Group at 501 Kings Highway East, Suite 204, in Fairfield, according to a news release from the provider.

The town has also established a vaccine call center for residents. Its number is 203-256-3082, and the center is staffed 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
