Driver Hits Woman In Fairfield Parking Lot, Flees: Police
The woman was with a 4-year-old child, but the child was not struck, and no one was injured, according to police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A driver struck a woman and fled earlier this week in a Fairfield parking lot, according to police.
Officers responded about 5:30 p.m. Monday to the parking lot of the Sportsplex at Fairfield on Mill Plain Road after a car backing out of a parking space hit a woman crossing from behind, police said. The woman was with a 4-year-old child, who was not struck, according to police.
No one was injured, but the vehicle left the scene before officers arrived, police said, adding witnesses described the car as a newer white Lincoln Sedan.
