Driver Seriously Injured After I-95 Crash In Fairfield
The injured driver was taken to a hospital for treatment, according to the Fairfield Fire Department.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A driver was seriously injured in a crash Tuesday, according to the Fairfield Fire Department.
The incident occurred near a rest area on northbound Interstate 95 in Fairfield, the department said in a Facebook post timestamped just before 6 p.m. Accompanying the post were photos of the scene, which showed multiple vehicles, including one that had been so severely rear-ended its back section looked to be completely destroyed.
The injured driver was taken to a hospital for treatment, the department said.
