Fairfield American 11-year-olds Clinch State Championship

The Little League team defeated the Torrington Nationals for the title on Tuesday.

The Fairfield American Little League 11-year-olds wrapped up an undefeated summer of baseball this week by winning the 11U State Championship over Torrington National Little League (18-3) and (9-2) in the best of a three-game series, manager Michael Steed said. 

Fairfield American completed summer play with a record of 13-0.
