FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield-area eatery recently received a shout-out in Food & Wine magazine.
The magazine sang the praises of Colony Grill as part of its rundown of the 10 best pizza states in America, a list on which Connecticut came in second only to New Jersey.
While Food & Wine singled out Colony Grill’s Stamford location, there are Colony Grill restaurants in Fairfield, Norwalk, Milford, Port Chester and Arlington, Virginia.

The magazine remarked upon Colony Grill’s “unbelievably thin (and yet somehow still chewy)” bar pies, which bring the heat in the form of a hot pepper and a drizzle of hot oil.
