Fairfield Beach Area Residents Asked To Move Cars Ahead Of Snow
Fairfield County is expected to get at least a foot of snow overnight.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield residents living in the beach area are asked to move parked vehicles from the road, if possible, to allow public works to clear roadways more efficiently during the coming snowstorm, according to an alert from the town. Parking is available in marked spaces at Veterans Park on Reef Road.
Fairfield County is expected to get at least a foot of snow overnight Wednesday into Thursday, with the possibility for minor coastal flooding, wind gusts and outages, First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick said in an email to residents, in which she urged people to stay off the roads.
