Fairfield Business Collecting Wedding Dresses For Nonprofit

Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home will be collecting the dresses to be repurposed as gowns for stillborn infants and babies who pass away.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road, will be collecting wedding dresses for the nonprofit Angel Babies from 9 a.m. to noon July 11, according to a news release from the business. Angel Babies repurposes wedding dresses into gowns for stillborn babies and infants who pass away.

“I am proud to help a special organization that helps care for families during a difficult time, I look forward to seeing our community help this endeavor,” Pamala Shaughnessey Banks, president of Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, said in the news release.
