Fire Damages Fairfield Home On Thanksgiving

Firefighters were called Thanksgiving evening to put out the blaze.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield home was damaged Thursday in a fire.

Firefighters responded about 7:15 p.m. on Thanksgiving evening to the house on Narrow Street, according to Assistant Chief Schuyler Sherwood. When they arrived, emergency personnel found flames outside the home that extended indoors on the first floor.

No one was injured, Sherwood said, adding firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze. The cause is under investigation.
