Fairfield Hosts Benefit for Ireland's Great Hunger Museum

Fairfield Gaelic Pipe Band and Keltic Kick to Perform at Grace O'Malley's Pub in Fairfield in Support of Irish Museum

A night of live Irish music, silent auction and the "best pint in town" to help raise funds for Ireland's Great Hunger Museum in Hamden is planned for Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 6 to 10 PM at Grace O'Malley Irish Pub & Restaurant, 1494 Post Road in Downtown Fairfield.

With the world’s largest collection of Irish Famine-related art, Ireland's Great Hunger Museum reflects an integral part of the Irish-American community. Unfortunately, it is in danger of closing after Quinnipiac University decided to make it a self-sustaining institution on campus.

Luckily, no one parties quite like the Irish and Grace O'Malley's will donate $1 from every drink and all proceeds from the silent auction to the museum. There is no cover charge for the live music provided by the Fairfield Gaelic Pipe Band and Keltic Kick.
