Michael Metrano, 56, of Fairfield, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on Nov. 16 at approximately 7:45 p.m.
According to police, Metrano entered into a physical altercation with a family member, slamming furniture and grabbing the person by the hair.
Metrano was released on $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 18.Â
