Fairfield Man Charged with Stalking TD Bank Employees

A Fairfield man previously arrested for allegedly causing a disturbance with a TD Bank employee has been charged with stalking two women who work at the Black Rock Turnpike bank, police said.

Peter DeGregorio, 56, of Moritz Place, turned himself in at police headquarters Tuesday on a warrant for second-degree stalking, according to the arrest report.

During the investigation into the August breach of peace arrest, police found that DeGregorio allegedly collected information about two female TD Bank employees "beyond what a casual observer would obtain," department spokesperson Sgt. Sue Lussier said. That data included the employees' dates of birth, driver license numbers, addresses, family information, and vehicle and license plate information. 

Lussier said DeGregorio is accused of providing false information to court officials to obtain the information and file for a restraining order against the two women. DeGregorio allegedly told the courts that he resided with the employees, police said.

The women told police they did not have any relationship with DeGregorio and feared for their safety. 

DeGregorio's bond was set at $50,000 and he is next due in court on Sept. 18.
