FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield honored America's fallen soldiers Monday with a display of patriotism and civic pride at the annual Memorial Day Parade, which returned to town after it was canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The parade through downtown featured military and veterans groups, the police and fire departments, elected officials, and representatives from several school and community organizations. Crowds lined the Post Road to take in the sights and cheer on the participants.
