Fairfield Native To Appear On 'Wheel Of Fortune'

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield native will be a contestant Thursday on “Wheel of Fortune.”

Meg Sahagian is from Fairfield and recently moved to Southern California. As a child, Sahagian had a nightly tradition of watching “Wheel of Fortune” with her grandparents. She still watches every weeknight, but now with her fiancé.

“I love Vanna White,” Sahagian said of the show’s longtime hostess in a news release from Sony Pictures Entertainment. "I think she is the epitome of style, class, grace, and so kind.”

Sahagian was selected to be a contestant after participating in the show’s virtual auditions. She will be spinning the Wheel and solving puzzles to win vacations and cash as part of “Show You The World” week. The episode will air 7:30 p.m. on ABC 7.

Newly engaged, Sahagian is a registered yoga instructor, and has started a small business with her fiancé. She plans to put any winnings toward her wedding.
