Fairfield Parade, Fireworks Are Back For 2021
The town's Memorial Day Parade and Fourth of July fireworks were canceled in 2020, but are set to return this year.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Patriotism will be on display in the coming weeks in Fairfield, as the town's Memorial Day Parade and Independence Day Firework Show are both set to return after the events were canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"These events are a celebration of our nation’s patriotism and independence, and are always a wonderful time here in Fairfield," First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick said in an email to residents.

The firework show was originally set for 9:15 p.m. July 3, but later postponed to July 5 due to the weather forecast. For more information, go to www.fairfieldct.org/fireworks.
