Fairfield Prep Football Vie for State Title

Fairfield Prep football will look to take home the Class ‘LL’ state championship when they square off with Southington Saturday afternoon at Central Connecticut State University.  

The Jesuits beat Glastonbury 33-23 in the quarterfinals then edged West Haven 29-28 in the semis to reach the championship game.

The game was originally scheduled for 6:05 p.m. at CCSU’s Arute Field, but due to forecasted inclement weather is has been moved up to 1:35 p.m.

Tickets for the game go on sale today and are available through the CIAC website.
