Fairfield Property Tax Bills To Be Mailed This Week
Property tax bills due starting July 1 will be mailed Friday to Fairfield residents.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield residents should keep an eye out for their property tax bills, which will be delivered in the coming days.
The 2020 Grand List bills — due starting July 1 — will be mailed Friday, according to the Fairfield tax collector's office.
The tax office, located in Old Town Hall, is open to the public and no appointment is necessary. Once the bills are mailed, residents may also look up bills and pay online at fairfieldct.org/taxpayment. Payments with an original bill coupon can also be made at any People's United Bank location, beginning July 1. Residents do not need to be People's United customers to pay at the bank.

Tax payments are due July 1 with a grace period until Aug. 2. Interest begins to accrue Aug. 3 at a rate of 1.5 percent per month, dating back to July 1.
