Fairfield Residents Face Charges After Fight

Fairfield man has a history of assault, including assault against a minor.

Two Fairfield residents are facing charges following a physical altercation Sunday evening.

Robert Waldo, 39, of Fairfield, was charged with breach of peace and violation of a protective order and Jaclyn Esposito, 32, of Fairfield, was charged with breach of peace on Nov. 10 at approximately 8:37 p.m.

According to police, officers responded to a physical altercation between Waldo and Esposito at a residence on Colonese Road in Fairfield. Waldo allegedly put his hands around Esposito’s neck and threw her to the floor, injuring her elbow. Esposito then stood up and allegedly struck him across the face, according to police.

Waldo has a history of assault, including assault against a minor in Florida, according to police.

Waldo was released on $25,000 bond and Esposito was released on a written promise to appear. Both are scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 12.
