Fairfield Restaurant 'Pausing' Operations: Report

The restaurant cited the coronavirus pandemic as the reason for the temporary closure, according to the Connecticut Post.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield eatery is “pausing operations” due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to the Connecticut Post.

Plan B Burger Bar will resume operations later in the year following a period of reinvestment, according to a statement provided to the Post, which quoted Allie J. Gamble, the CEO and founder of Plan B’s parent company, Locals 8 Restaurant Group.

Plan B and Locals 8 representatives did not respond to repeated requests for information from Fairfield Patch.

The Fairfield restaurant opened in 2015 in the former post office building at 1262 Post Road. It is one of several Plan B locations in Connecticut, along with eateries in Milford, Simsbury, Glastonbury, Southington and West Hartford. The restaurant in Stamford is temporarily closed, according to Plan B’s website.
