Fairfield Schools Announce Remote Learning Friday After Snowfall
If there are power or internet outages Friday, the Fairfield school district may cancel instruction.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Friday will be a remote learning day for Fairfield students, according to the school district website. The announcement came after an early school dismissal Thursday that accompanied several inches of snow.
If there are power or internet outages Friday, the district may cancel instruction, according to a Facebook post from school board Secretary Jessica Gerber. Teachers and all 12-month employees should work remotely, except custodial and maintenance staff, who should report to work as usual.
