Fairfield Schools Call Remote Learning Day After Snowstorm
Fairfield students will be learning from home Tuesday, after a snow day Monday.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Tuesday will be a remote learning day for Fairfield students, according to a message posted on the school district website.
Public and parochial school buildings in town will be closed due to ongoing cleanup and unsafe driving conditions created by Monday's storm, which is expected to bring about a foot of snow to Fairfield. All classes and activities were canceled Monday due to the storm.
Remote instruction may be canceled Tuesday if there are power or internet outages, the message said. Information about lunch distribution will be available Tuesday morning and will depend on whether food service staff can safely access school buildings.
