How did you come up with the name?
I love cottage gardens, farm houses and all things vintage so I thought the name Vintage Garden best described my style.

I grew up in Westport but after I got married in 1997, we bought a house in Fairfield and have been raising our family here. I had been looking for years at vacant spaces in town. When the Brick Walk Promenade was being built in 2009, a call to my realtor made my dream of opening a gift and flower shop a reality!

Vintage Garden sells a wide variety of gifts, flowers and decorative accessories for the home and garden.
What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?
My biggest challenge is juggling being a small business owner and a mom to three active boys. I try to fit in as much as I can during school hours so I never miss anything they are involved in, which is a lot!
What’s been your proudest achievement since opening?
Being named as one of CT magazine’s Best Gift Shops in CT!
How does your business give back to the community?
We support so many organizations every year with various gift cards and auction items. These organizations rely heavily on the small businesses in our community and we are happy to help out whenever we can.
